OEM Fire Fighting Monitor FIFI System Tower
The fire tower is a fire-fighting equipment used in conjunction with fire monitors. Its structure is strictly designed according to relevant national standards, safe and stable, and has certain safety protection measures and spray cooling measures. Equipped with ladder cage and lightning protection.
Fire towers are usually installed outdoors, then they are prone to rusting. They should have good corrosion resistance and be able to withstand wind, rain, snow, and the reaction force of fire cannon spraying in the natural environment. Their structural strength should be able to withstand both the maximum wind force in the use area and the reaction force of fire cannon spraying.
The fire tower is one of the main equipment for installing fire monitors and implementing high-level spraying of fire extinguishing agents. Its structural design should meet the requirements of normal operation and use of the fire monitor, and should not affect the normal actions of the fire monitor such as left and right rotation or up and down pitch.
The fire tower should be equipped with pipelines for fire extinguishing agents, hydraulic oil, steam, and power supply that are matched with the fire monitor. The diameter, strength, and sealing of the pipelines should meet the requirements of the system design. The inlet pipeline should be equipped with a filtering device that facilitates the removal of debris.
Outdoor fire towers are generally located close to the fire scene and are susceptible to natural disasters. In order to facilitate operation and ensure personnel safety, lightning protection devices and protective railings should be installed to reduce damage to the turret itself and equipment installed on it, such as fires and lightning strikes. At the same time, self-protection water curtain devices should also be installed. The total flow rate of the protective water curtain should not be less than 6L/S.
Generally, the fire tower is a double platform, with foam monitors installed on the upper platform and water monitors installed on the lower platform; There are also three platform (or multi platform) fire turrets, with foam monitors installed on the upper platform, water monitors installed on the middle platform, and dry powder monitors installed on the lower platform. This is mainly determined by the injection characteristics of different extinguishing agents such as foam, water and dry powder, and the longer barrel of the foam gun. In order to ensure the spraying effect of the foam monitor, it is advantageous and necessary to place it on the upper platform. It is precisely because the barrel of the foam gun is long, and its elevation and depression angles are large, it is difficult to install it on the lower platform with a small floor height interval, so it needs to be installed on the top platform.
