 Application of thermal protective aids:
Thermal protective aids TPA are used for people in danger to keep warm on life boat or life raft and convenient wearing. The products have been certificated and inspected by DNV-GL and meet requirements of Solas pact and IMO standard.

The thermal protecive aids TPA are in accordance with SOLAS 74 as amended Reg. III/4, 22, 32 and 34, X/3 LSA Code I, II, 1994 and 2000 HSC Code Chapter 8, IMO MSC.81(70) as amended

A TPA is a bag or suit made of waterproof material with low thermal conductance (thermal conductance of not more than 7,800 K⋅m2/W). Every survival craft should have 2 thermal protective aid suits or 10% of its total carrying capacity whichever is greater. The material used to make TPA is usually aluminized polyethylene suit with sealing to reduce both convective and evaporative heat loss from wearer's body.
